Angry waves
Tides are churning out at sea Mournful cries reach out to me. Songs are lost within the wind, Faces turn as hearts won't bend Someone reached into the night, Left a soul alone to fight. Feet they run to save themselves Others fall this life their hells. Give a poor man a dime to eat, A match to burn to warm their feet Save the wicked, say a prayer Searching alleys for one to care. In the moonlight cast a stone, If not a sinner you be alone. No one fails to take a fall, Some stand up others craw. Where's the gladness for those that thrive? Why satisfaction when one takes a dive? Forgiving hearts are hard to find, Many act as though their blind. Angry waves are crashing down, Taking prisoners under ground. Fall to knees reach through muck, Find an essence lost that's stuck. Sandyz
