Candy canes, mistletoe, glittering lights adorning trees Young ones yearning for the special gift, oh Santa please Christmas music, a stranger's smile, hearts warmed not feeling chill of night Last minute cards, phone calls to loved ones, skipped heart beat for those whose wings took flight Colors red and green, silver bells, angels and stars placed at the top Pretty paper, bows, spiral ribbons, flashing bulbs that never stop Carolers singing Bells a ringing Time moves swiftly days are counted; fill the pantry, ovens baking Catch the sales, make a list, think of all the plans were making Baby Jesus in the manger Hugs passed on to a stranger Celebrate, celebrate the birth of Christ Hold on to faith with all your might Crosses, bibles opened, hands in prayer Love of Christmas fills the air Bring His love back to the light See the beauty of December's night Feed the hungry, shelter the cold Give of the heart we need not be told Presents beneath the tree surrounded by a train circles it goes Children waiting to give Santa a chat, all in a line toe to toes Days are numbered families will gather Memories in motion, hours of chatter Magic of Christmas from here to abroad The miracle birth, the son of God Sandyz
